   To shut one's mouth by putting one's upper and lower lips together.

   Korean definition: 윗입술과 아랫입술을 붙여 입을 닫다.

   • 앞으로 튀어나온 이가 콤플렉스인 그는 의식적으로 입을 다물곤 한다.

     Self-conscious about his protruding teeth, he often consciously keeps his mouth shut.

   • 긴장한 나는 입을 굳게 다물고 굳은 표정으로 면접관의 질문에 대답했다.

     Nervous, I kept my mouth firmly shut and answered the interviewer's questions with a stiff expression.
