   An exclamation that several people shout vigorously.

   Korean definition: 여러 사람이 힘차게 외치는 소리.

   • 와! 우리 대표 팀이 등장하자 관중석은 힘차게 환호하며 반겼다.

     Woo! When our national team appeared, the stands cheered loudly to welcome them.

   • 천지를 흔드는 적군의 와 소리에 군사들은 감히 진격할 생각을 못하고 주춤하였다.

     At the enemy's earth-shaking battle cry, the soldiers hesitated, not daring to advance.

   Korean definition: 소나 말을 멈추게 하거나 가만히 있으라고 달래는 소리.

   • 승규는 와 소리를 내어 말을 멈추고 먼 산을 바라보았다.

     Seung-gyu said "whoa" to stop the horse and gazed at the distant mountains.
