   Korean definition: 두 가지 이상의 것을 한데 합치다.

   • 맥주에 소주를 조금 섞어 마셨더니 맥주만 마실 때보다 금방 취했다.

     When I mixed a little soju into my beer, I got drunk faster than drinking beer alone.

   • 나는 남아 있는 밥에 집에 있는 반찬을 섞고 참기름과 고추장을 넣어 비벼 먹었다.

     I mixed the leftover rice with side dishes I had at home, added sesame oil and gochujang, and mixed it all up to eat.

   Korean definition: 어떤 말이나 행동에 다른 말이나 행동을 함께 나타내다.

   • 미국에서 오래 살다 온 지수는 한국말이 아직 서툴러 한국말에 영어를 섞어서 쓴다.

     Jisu, who lived in the U.S. for a long time, is still clumsy in Korean and mixes English into it.

   • 내가 본 연극은 진지한 장면 속에 코믹한 상황을 섞어 넣어 지루하지 않고 재미있게 볼 수 있었다.

     The play I saw added comic situations into serious scenes, so it was fun and not boring to watch.
