   Korean definition: 뜻밖에 우연히.

   • 그는 어쩌다 길에서 마주쳐도 아는 척도 안 했다.

     Even when we happened to run into each other on the street, he didn't even acknowledge me.

   • 승규는 나와 어쩌다 눈이라도 마주치면 얼굴이 새빨개졌다.

     Whenever Seunggyu happened to meet my eyes, his face turned bright red.

   occasionally; now and then

   Once in a while, or sometimes.

   Korean definition: 가끔가다가. 또는 이따금씩.

   • 어쩌다 생각나는 그 사람이 오늘따라 참 보고 싶다.

     That person who comes to mind now and then, I really miss him today of all days.

   • 간혹 어쩌다 친구들만 만날 뿐 요즘은 사람 만나는 게 두렵다.

     Apart from occasionally meeting my friends, these days I'm afraid of meeting people.
